REFEREE APPOINTMENT OFFICER
The Beds FA are withdrawing the Central Referee Appointments system they have been running for several seasons to assist Leagues with the appointment of referees to all the League's matches from season 2020-21
Like all the other Leagues in Bedfordshire the Chiltern Youth League will need to appoint a Referee Appointment Secretary.
In the past the CYFL has had an AM Appointments Secretary and a PM Appointments Secretary
The job could therefore be spilt again or for the right candidate be a role for just one person.
Anybody interested or would like to discuss the position is invited to contact Jonathan Brown League General Secretary or Peter Brown Chairman
RULE CHANGE 2019-2020
At the AGM on Monday the member clubs voted on the following rule change.
Teams will now be allowed to use 3 free weeks if required during the playing season (except cup final dates).
This will replace the old rule of no fixtures during the half term breaks.
Fixtures will be scheduled in all age groups.
So if you need to use any dates then they must be submitted with at least a month's notice to the Match Secretary.
